The Häselhütte is an open hiking hut (about 4 x 5 m), which is located on a mountainside of the Liesertal (360m above sea level). With a U-shaped seat-table combination and a large open space in the middle, it offers the opportunity to rest in the woods.
From the hut you have a nice view over the Liesertal to Manderscheid.

If you come from the Wolfshütte and the Achtergraben down to the bridge over which you can cross the Lieser, then a small, steep path leads up the forest to the Häselhütte.
At the moment, at the end of November 2019, everything is very wet and slippery. The road is not secured, the few railings offer little security and are more for the nerves.
