After a brisk descent, two large water buffalo oxen can be spotted on the large meadow in the Volbach valley. Especially in the early summer months when the grass is higher, you sometimes have to look very closely. They lie well hidden in the depressions and waterholes between the grasses.
Due to their size, a longer break is also worthwhile here, as the two animals are very impressive.
