Accompanying the State Garden Show in Bad Gandersheim, the lighthouse project "Village Beauties" was launched:
16 Gandersheim villages take the viewer with a photo installation on a journey into the village life of the last 120 years.
You can use stamps to immortalize the visited village beauties in the associated stamp booklet (blank booklets are often in the stamp boxes).
In Ackenhausen they are on the wall of the wooden stable of the Voss family opposite the church.
All in all, another varied picture wall has been created that shows the eventful past of the quiet village in the Heberbörde.
A paved hiking trail leads over the Heber to Mechtshausen to the Wilhelm Busch memorial.
Incidentally, further motifs can be found in the recently published accompanying illustrated book by Benno Löning, who provided the idea.
