The Gande is an approximately 20 km long right tributary of the Leine. It rises near Lamspringe on the east side of the Sackwald in the district of Hildesheim and flows south from there between Sackwald and Heber. The Gande finally flows into the Leine between Kreiensen and Greene. (wikipedia)

The pedestrian bridge over the Gande is currently closed, if you want to go from the north to Brunshausen or the garden exhibition, you have to cross the Gande over the road bridge - not very safe and pleasant!
