Plaça de la Reina

The remodeling works, which began in April 2022, have turned the square into a diaphanous and accessible space, enhancing the city's historical heritage, and offering a renewed perspective of the Micalet, the baroque door of the Cathedral and Santa Caterina.

The Plaza de la Reina is one of the busiest squares in Valencia, Spain. The streets Micalet, Pau, Avellanes, del Mar, de Cabillers, Sant Vicent Mártir and Santa Catalina meet here. And also the Puerta Barok de los Hierros is located here , which gives access to the Cathedral of Valencia.

It is one of the icons and symbols of the city that stands out for its garden areas that, together with the cathedral in the background, form a very picturesque ensemble. It is surrounded by very traditional bars and restaurants where you should not miss out on trying a typical horchata with fartons or sitting down in the afternoon to enjoy some tapas.

Generally, you will find craft stalls and markets where you can buy an original and different souvenir.
