Prayer house in the field on the Geheul.
This chapel was built in 1961 by contractor War Versmissen van Zondereigen.
This was commissioned by Miss Margriet Van de Vorst, who wanted to start a new monastic order 'De Servants of the Church' in the Sint-Margrethakluis on the Blokgoor. After the departure of the sisters, mass was celebrated in the chapel for many years for the residents of Koekhoven, Geheul and Lipseinde. As of June 18, 2005, it has been discontinued. In 2009 the chapel was sold by the Diocese of Antwerp.
She is now privately owned. At this location you can park on an unpaved parking lot. You are in the Zwart Goor nature reserve in no time. Stepping or kicking, enjoy a wonderful activity with the blessing.
