The listed all-mile column in Schwarzenberg belongs to the Saxon post-mile columns that were erected in the Electorate of Saxony by the Land and Border Commissioner Adam Friedrich Zürner on behalf of Elector Friedrich August I of Saxony in the first half of the 18th century. It is located on a small square in Crandorf, which is part of the Erla district, at the confluence of the Postsäulenweg and Crandorfer Straße in the town of Schwarzenberg/Erzgeb in the western Ore Mountains. in the Erzgebirge district. The full mile column with row number 52 is in its original location.

The full-mile marker is now located in the town center on a traffic island at the entrance to the Erlabrunn Clinics. Its original location was likely near the train station building opposite the Nonnenfelsen rock.

Examination of the current monument revealed that the marker was reassembled from different materials (granite), suggesting that it was rebuilt from parts of at least two different markers after their loss in the 19th century. The origin of the second marker has not yet been determined.

In May 1934, the marker was rebuilt by a roadworker at the Steindheidel junction of the road from Johanngeorgenstadt to Schwarzenberg (now S272). Fragments of what were likely two different full-mile markers were found in Breitenbrunn and Oberwildenthal. (erlabrunnerzgebirge.de/kursaechsische_ganzmeilensaeule)
