From the hikers' car park "Am Eicksberg" you can hike through beautiful heather areas and access parts of the nature reserve "Heideflächen Mitteles Lüßplateau". One encounters well-developed paths such as the hiking trails of the W10 "In the realm of the Heidschnucken" or the "Heidschnuckenweg" which lead through one of the most beautiful heather areas of the Südheide Nature Park. Depending on the time of year and time of day, you can meet a herd of Heidschnucken with a shepherd.
