The deep valley
The Tiefental borders directly on the Misselhorner Heide. In the ice age, a deep dry valley developed here, which is particularly diverse in terms of landscape.

Although the Tiefental is only a few hundred meters wide, it impresses with a unique panorama. Around 1860, the well-known mission founder and Hermannsburg pastor Ludwig Harms preached in the deep valley against this unique backdrop.
