The historical development of the Obrunn Gorge
In the 1960s and 1970s, the Obrunn Gorge was a special attraction for the residents of Höchst and also for many people from outside looking for local recreation.
Fairy tales and legends were represented with various objects such as castles, mills and sculptures.
After the ravages of time took their toll and there was also vandalism, almost all buildings fell into disrepair or were destroyed.
Since 2005, with the active help of some fellow citizens and the financial support of numerous business people, the buildings have been restored and rebuilt. In addition, completely new projects are tackled.
