The climb starts at the foot of the Pensemontstraat and ends 1.74 km later in the middle of the Kluisbos. The start of the climb is quite steep, although you can keep walking here with trained legs thanks to the paved surface. Then you end up on a plateau that continues to climb gently. You walk the last part of the climb on an unpaved path in the Kluisbos. With a height difference of 110 m, this is the longest climb with the most height difference on the route.
