This railway bridge was built in 1882
and was part of the old embankment
of the Weißeritz Valley Railway from Dippoldiswalde
to Spechtritz.
The bridge crossed the mill race, which ran
from the Weißeritz to the Seifersdorf Mill
(first mentioned in 1501 and had three milling gears).
The current hiking trail
from Spechtritz to the Malter Dam was created with the dismantling of the railway line in 1914.translated by
