Steam train operation on a narrow gauge between Freital-Hainsberg and the health resort of Kipsdorf.
Furthermore, the Weißeritztalbahn also regularly offers special trips and events. Tickets for the narrow-gauge railway are available from the tourist information office, which is located in the station building. Kipsdorf train station is also an ideal starting point for planned hiking or cycling tours.

Weißeritztalbahn Freital-Hainsberg-Kurort Kipsdorf narrow-gauge railway. Today, the line is considered the oldest publicly operated narrow-gauge railway in Germany. The first section opened in 1882. The entire line to Kipsdorf opened in 1883.
