The "Deep Holy Trinity Tunnel" was mainly used for drainage and ventilation of the pit.

The mouth hole was completely buried for a long time and was made in its current form by the association "Gewerkschaft St. Briccius" e.V. in 2009.

Despite being over 11 meters thick in some cases, the "Holy Trinity" deposit was often only in operation at a loss due to the low ore content and high zinc content in the copper ore.

The year 1517 was presumably carved into a stone found in the mouth hole area. This stone was put back into the newly erected mouth hole wall and may represent one of the oldest surviving annual mining tables in the Annaberg area.

The approx. 400 m long tunnel has been preserved in its original cross-section, which is very narrow in places, but is not passable.
