The Loopebach is a tributary of the Agger and has its source about 800 m northwest of Drabenderhöhe near Verr at an altitude of almost 300 meters. From here it flows north-west through the naturally preserved Loopebach valley. After seven kilometers, the Loopebach flows into the Agger without touching any other village.
