Attention: For the foreseeable future (years!), the "green-marked" descent from the GC 200 to the right (hiking trail to the beach: "Playa de Guayedra") is closed – except on Saturdays and Sundays – due to road and tunnel construction below the GC 200. This is very disappointing, especially if you've already started your hike and think you've finally left the (quite fast-moving) road behind you... in fact, the aforementioned beach is no longer accessible – except on weekends!

The route down from waypoint 5 is poorly maintained. This is likely due to roadworks; the path is closed during the week. There are no signposts. The path is barely recognizable, narrow, steep, and covered in loose rocks. The beach below isn't worth the effort.
