Not only because it is the only way to stop off (if I remember correctly), the Refugio El Hornillo is a wonderful place: Here you can fortify yourself with magnificent views for the ascent to Tamadaba: with drinks such as coffee or tea, water or freshly squeezed fruit juices, cakes or Canarian delicacies.
