The magnificent Bärnauer market square is characterized by many impressive buildings. One of them is the town hall. In the devastating city fire in 1839, the town hall was a robbery of the flames. The reconstruction of a new town hall was decided in 1894 and construction began in 1898. On September 11, 1899, the inauguration took place. The town hall has an attractive facade and a remarkable town hall hall.
