In the middle of the old town of the Adriatic metropolis, the Mercato Coperto Ravenna was not only an Italian market and gastronomy concept, but also a place for conferences, events, trade fairs and celebrations. The Italian food manufacturer Molino Spadoni has invested 2.7 million euros in the modernization of the historic market hall.

The building was gutted, an intermediate floor detached from the outer skin was installed and environmentally friendly technologies and energy and water saving measures were used. After a five-year restoration period, the listed hall was reopened in 2019, but was only able to get off to a good start after the pandemic in 2022 - just in time for its centenary.
