The city wall of Aschersleben is one of the longest preserved historical city fortifications in Central Germany with its many well-preserved sections, some of which have been extensively restored, its 10 towers and the roundabout. It can be completely circumnavigated on foot or by bicycle via the designated Promenaden-Ring. Unfortunately, in summer many interesting sections remain hidden behind the greenery of the city. For this reason it is very interesting to complete the tour once in winter to be able to experience the actual extent and the beautiful state of preservation ...
