After stopping for coffee in Westerham, one of the best spots roads to had along is Hosey Hill. This is a great warm-up if you're heading on to Puddleduck lane, Toy's Hill and then maybe York's Hill.

My assessment largely lines up with Rhys.

This climb is fairly gentle (other than one short stretch of 12%) and makes a good warmup for the legs as it shouldn't be too much of a grind and provides a good route to continue onto other much tougher kent climbs and also towards Bough Beech Reservoir if so desired.
