The rectory lamus in Knyszyn was built in the early 19th century (in 1818), probably on the initiative of the parish foundation. Located opposite the rectory, it served as a utility building. It is an entirely wooden building, built on a rectangular plan of sharp-edged beams with a hipped roof covered with shingles. It survived the war damage. Renovated in 1953. During the renovation, the arcade beams were repaired, the rotten wall fragments were replaced, the shingles and roof structure were reinforced. During the next renovation in 1996, the walls were repaired and the shingles on the roof were replaced again. On January 22, 1953, it was entered into the register of monuments.
