Since the construction of the new, large outer piers between 2011 and 2013, these piers have been virtually dammed. Nevertheless, they are still excellent fishing spots from which you can fish large areas of the enlarged harbor entrance. Herring, mackerel and garfish pass by here. Mullet patrol along the stones and graze on the algae, and eels hide in the gaps between the stones. From the pier it is also worth fishing for flatfish with natural bait (fish scraps and pieces are a very good alternative to lugworms and ragworms!). In the cold season, even cod move to this outer area of the harbor!
