Mamrelund Harbor

A tranquil sheltered spot where fjord fishermen anchor their boats. Slightly off the beaten track from the normal hustle and bustle of the port 😊

In the middle of Hvide Sande lies the Mamrelund, full of small boats that fish for bluefish, herring and eels on the fjord. On the outermost tongue are two great houseboats, which are in a quiet and beautiful setting despite the activities in the harbor. From the houseboats you have a unique view of the Ringkøbing Fjord, the boats, sailing ships and the schooner Maja. When the schooner enters the harbor, you can watch it from the front row.
The central location means you can get to the town quickly and take advantage of the activities and shopping opportunities.
