The best-preserved ruin in Königsmühle is the Brenner-Albin House. It is located at the very east of the former settlement, on the edge of the forest. Here, a relatively intact room has even been furnished with old furniture and everyday objects. The Brenner-Albin House is the closest thing to a time before the expulsion.

The house is in the best condition. Even numerous interiors can be admired. Donation box and internet connection of the association is also available.

Nowadays, the place Koenigsmühle is referred to as an "extinct village", which describes several events in the area and in the village that are connected with the expulsion of the Germans in 1945/46. After the residents of Königsmühle were expelled in the autumn of 1946, the Czech residents of Háj (Proud Grove) took advantage of the situation to use the wood from Königsmühle as building material. Therefore the roofs, the balconies, the windows, the doors and also the village disappeared. Today the ruins are contemporary witnesses for us, reminding us of the poverty of its inhabitants.
