The Golden Gate, built between 1366 and 1367, was originally the main entrance to the cathedral. Above the gate you can see a magnificent golden mosaic from 1370, which depicts the Last Judgement, as well as King Charles IV and his wife Elisabeth of Pomerania.

The bell tower next to it is 96 meters high and can be climbed. It offers a wonderful view of the city. The bell dates from 1549 and is the largest bell in the country.
