The Schwarzbach is a stream in the Bavarian Forest National Park and near Finsterau. The Schwarzbach is made up of two streams, the Kleine Schwarzbach and the Großer Schwarzbach, which unite below the Steinfleck. The Schwarzbach comes from the north, where he and some of its small tributaries are caught in a formerly used for the Holztrift hermitage, the Schwarzbachklause. The Kleine Schwarzbach flows from its source, west of the Steinfleckberg located on Lusen and high Filzberg over to the spot where he unites with the Great Schwarzbach. The Great Schwarzbach springs before he comes to the Hermitage in the so-called Schwarzbach slopes on Marchkopf (Malá Mokrůvka), a border mountain to the neighboring Czech Republic. It has been proven that there were glaciers on some mountains in the Bavarian Forest during the Ice Age. For example, on the two highest mountains on the Great Arber and the Great Rachel. It is very likely that there was also a glacier on Lusen, which must have been in the valley of the Kleine Schwarzbach.
