A fairytale castle, which is a medieval castle house from the 14th century. was rebuilt by the architect Girard (later General Manager of the Louvre) on behalf of the princely couple Ludwig and Leonilla zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Sayn into a palace in the neo-Gothic style. Today there are also event and conference rooms, a museum and the castle restaurant on this property.
