The cultural monument Limeswachturm Wp 1/54 is a reconstruction of a watchtower of the Upper Germanic-Rhaetian Limes with palisade, rampart and moat from the year 1912. In 2009 and 2010 it was extensively restored.
The original foundations are located about 20 meters from the reconstruction of the Roman tower.

From the Roman tower on the Limes you have a great view of the valley! Unfortunately, the Roman tower is usually closed and can be accessed at certain times / arrangements. We were lucky, there was a gentleman with a key at the tower, so that we could go up.
