The Bokkenrijder (The Goat Rider) is a bronze sculpture by Gerrit Bolhuis from 1957. The sculpture has no connection with the Bokkenrijders from the 18th century.
Bolhuis created several sculptures for children to play with. So the idea was born to lure young people to sit behind the boys. But the young people quickly discovered that you could also sit in front of the boys.
