One of the city's goals is to make the forest park more attractive for walkers and those looking for relaxation. She also wants to make it greener. For this purpose, the many beaten paths are to be reduced so that the slopes can recover and green up themselves. To ensure that pedestrians do not lose their way, the city of Lößnitz had the Nehlsen company set up ten sculptures with owls as signposts, which now mark a circular route through the forest park. The figures were created by Ulrich Eißner, professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Dresden. They cost 10,000 euros.
