At that time there were three Ordensburgen "Vogelsang", Sonthofen and another one in Poland. There the leadership elite of the NS should be trained and educated. One of the most famous was Hardy Krueger.
You can look at it however you want, it's a place worth seeing.
The new canteen is worth a break, hearty meals, but also delicious coffee and cake. The view over the Rursee is incredible.😉👍👍👍
