200 years ago a mill stood here - this one was built in 2001 - nevertheless it fits here.

... the wheel should turn forever

Where once stood a small mill, this mill wheel was rebuilt. The brook splashes over small waterfalls and keeps the wheel moving. About wooden steps you come down directly to the mill wheel. An idyllic spot on the path along the Mühlbach.

On the way between Ötscherhias and Erlaufklause you will find an old mill wheel, which is still in operation.

You have to imagine the work of bringing the material for the construction here on your own. Respect for the performance.
