The Mudejar Pavilion in the Parque de María Luisa in Seville is a beautiful historic building designed by Aníbal González for the 1929 Ibero-American Exposition. Also known as the Museo de Artes y Costumbres Populares, the building is decorated with colorful azulejos and offers a fascinating insight into the folk art and traditions of Andalusia.

The Archaeological Museum of Seville (Museo Arqueológico de Sevilla) is housed in the Pabellón del Renacimiento in the Parque de María Luisa. Designed by Aníbal González for the Ibero-American Exposition of 1929, this museum houses an impressive collection that covers the history of the region from prehistoric times to the early modern period.
The collection includes the El Carambolo treasure, a magnificent collection of gold artefacts from the Iberian period, and numerous finds from the Roman city of Italica, such as mosaics, sculptures and the famous Venus of Italica. The museum offers an in-depth look at the rich archaeological heritage of Seville and its surroundings.
