Monk Trail at Mönchsteich

Great trail along the south bank of the Mönchsteich, past several small, free bathing bays with great views of the pond. It's great fun to bike here and stop every now and then to enjoy the beautiful view.

Well, interesting, but unfortunately also swampy and difficult terrain ... if you like wet feet, you should try to get through here at the bottom of the pond ... lately I've been driving around the swamp on the way further above the pond - that is the simpler, but better variant for me. In the last few years I have often "made my way" down through the swamp - even on foot - but only if you want some adventure should you try to drive through there. Have lots of fun with it. Further up you can drive this route "normally" better.😉

The arch to the Mönchsteich down is particularly fun, sometimes go uphill and downhill. Great trail!
