Seidingstadt was the most important hunting lodge of the Dukes of Hildburghausen. According to the surviving plans and photographs, the architecture appears to have been elaborate for a castle of this type. The old hunting lodge and birthplace of "Princess Therese von Sachsen-Hildburghausen" is located here. Not much can be seen anymore, but a commemorative plaque reminds of this place.
