From the observation tower you look at the artificial Havel-Umfluter and the vast foothills of the Elbe. After laying the Havel estuary downstream, the narrow piece of land along the stream was cut off from the hinterland. Once stood here a dense forest, today only remnants are present. By cessation of use and replanting, new floodplain forests are to be created here. The Elbe beaver has already discovered this kingdom for himself.
