A fantastically beautiful and huge Murial!!! But please don't just look at the large mural, you have to go further to the right. The pictures tell a story... there the people are processed into food by the pigs. I had a good laugh, really well presented!

Mandana Mesgarzadeh: Bombs on a city / Created on October 17, 2023
Neusser Str. 419, 50733 Cologne, Germany
Mandana Mesgarzadeh, artist and museum educator, born in 1967 in Tehran/Iran. Lives and works in Cologne. The mural not only shows the bombing war against a residential area but also, in the upper part, a rubber dinghy full of people in orange life jackets. The boat turns into the bow of a chic yacht on the right, on which a friendly, pot-bellied gentleman with a gray moustache in a tailcoat and top hat cheerfully throws banknotes into the air at the fighter jets flying in from a distance. He does not see the refugees in the rubber dinghy behind him because he is looking in the other direction. The banknotes are floating in the sea next to the yacht, and the life jackets are floating next to the rubber dinghy. While the ruins of the bombed city are in the picture area under the dinghy, the glittering facades of a rich financial metropolis rise up below the yacht. This mural was created in 2019.
