    Town Square, Glurns
Today, the Glurns town square is the link between the lower and upper town. The temporarily traffic-calmed square with the two large horse chestnut trees and a drinking water fountain invites you to linger. From the round bench under the tree or from the seats in front of the cafés, you can watch the hustle and bustle in a relaxed manner. On church holidays, processions with flags, statues, bands and deputations from local associations march across the town square to the parish church. On market days and on the occasion of festivals and celebrations, busy social life takes place on the Glurns town square.

The town square is the lively meeting place in the old town.
There are two cafes and several small shops here. Two large chestnut trees provide shade in summer. So either take a leisurely break or just grab an ice cream and continue strolling through the city.

There are also a few town houses worth seeing on the square. The most striking thing is definitely the Gasthof zum Grünen Baum, in the same color, with battlements and a fresco on the gable. At number 13 there is a 16th century sundial.

In fine weather, a constant come and go, plus a delicious ice cream on one of the benches. Great
