The double sculpture in front of the Café Wilde is a funny speculation from the history of literature. On the bench sit the writers of the same generation, the English writer, of Irish descent, Oscar Wilde (1854-1900) and the Estonian writer Eduard Vilde (1865-1933) , Sculptor Tiiu Kirsipuu, who modeled the figures on photos, said that when she created the sculptures in 1980, she always kept in mind that in theory the illustrated entertainment could have taken place in 1892.

Beautiful sculpture by Oscar Wilde, whom I "met" before on a tour of Ireland, probably in Dublin.
