Located in the immediate vicinity of the city center Supilinn is a unique place, because here the city, the countryside and nature meet each other. Supilinn, whose history dates back to the mid-18th century, is a historic district of Tartu, the former slum and suburb.

Supilinn's distinctive polychrome wooden houses, green courtyards, the Emajõgi River and Frog Pond are all part of the identity and sense of community that characterize the local people.
