    The natural terrace here was created by removing gravel to fill up the main train station in Frankfurt (1881)
    disturbed. In the area of the steep slope there is a site where tools from the Old and New Stone Age were found. There are also very numerous sandstone boulders (transport stones) of different sizes, which the Ur-Main transported and deposited here thousands of years ago, frozen on mighty ice floes.

    South of the vantage point are the burial mounds of the Tannacker Group with 38 mounds, probably mostly from the Hallstatt culture (700 - 450 BC).
