The 18.4 hectare Biegwald is located in the Frankfurt Green Belt and in the landscape conservation area and is a forest park. The landscape conservation area includes an old hornbeam-oak-elm forest. Forests of this type used to cover large parts of the Main and Nidda valleys and have a diverse flora in the herbaceous layer. The park part of the forest also offers playgrounds for all age groups and a playground. It is connected to the Solmspark and Rödelheim by a footpath and a bridge over the Mühlgraben. The Green Belt cycle route and the safari route lead through the Biegwald. More information at:
