In the mid-1990s, in the course of the realization of the Rhine-Main Regional Park, the previously straightened Sulzbach was given a little space in the park on the outskirts of Sossenheim (south of Autobahn 66): A former mill ditch was renatured as well as the stream itself, so that the Sulzbach now meandering quietly between bushes and trees.
