A very beautiful side route that's worth the effort. Fewer tourists initially, but more strenuous as you first descend and then climb steeply. But you'll be rewarded with peace and quiet and the beautiful lakes.

Ideal for families. Idyllic location, easily accessible on foot (if you like hiking!) And a real adventure to set yourself across the lake on a raft. We were out and about on the Reiteralm all day!
