I still can't believe that this adventure is over today.

After a swim at sunrise (it's still pretty empty on the beach) and a coffee, we're off. On the endless beach promenade I join the stream of joggers, walkers and walkers. The sun beds are disinfected?? And taken over by the first sun worshipers

Super nice tour to Jesolo. I don't understand why so many hikers skip these last stages.

Always a small dirt road along the river.

For a long time only a few walkers and strollers until the cyclists showed up.

      Met no more hikers.

Only from about 2 km before Jesolo then along a small road. Don't underestimate

The weather report announced heavy rain until 10 a.m. but I was lucky again. I had a rain front ahead and one behind me, but I ran dry and mostly in cloud shadow for 37km.

Mainly really nice varied paths along the Piave that you didn't see often.

On the last 8 km then unfortunately once along the roadside

The day started with rain and wind gusts. So we had breakfast in peace and only started when it got a little better.

On small roads we went through small villages and wine regions.

The view of the plain didn't bode well because it was pitch black and there was always thunder and lightning.

      But I always

Belluno said goodbye to me with sunbeams.

It was mostly on paved mountain roads today, but there are very few cars on the road, so it's not bad at all.

Beautifully green everywhere and the beetles and crickets are chirping and roaring from all sides.

Three older gentlemen found it quite good that I walked

A quite nice tour from Longarone to Belluno. However, I took a wrong turn 2-3 times due to weak GPS and thus invested a few extra meters in my feet.

Most of the time it went on hiking or cycling/footpaths without car traffic. Once along the Piave. I did not find the dry path at the end of the path. So

Today one of the last mountain stages. First quite steep on small scree forest paths. From time to time over untrustworthy wooden bridges.

Then on a narrow, hardly used road to Longarone.

Since I didn't want to take the bus to Belluno (otherwise it would be to walk along a busy road without a footpath

What a nice but "tough cookie" tour towards the end.

So varied - alternately always through damp cool forest sections then again over sun-heated scree fields.

Even though I'm still panting like a locomotive going uphill, I feel fitter every day. Even the previously too big stone steps are easy for me

The Dolomites gave everything again today.

From the sunrise, green plateaus where the sheep graze, slippery root stairs of the mountain pine, large boulders that have to be climbed over and of course scree fields that have to be crossed.

The weather again very first (soy) cream and now feet up....

Short nice tour. Actually I wanted to go to the Tissi Hütte but it was full when I booked. Almost a second rest day today.

Sweating uphill over narrow steep paths - sometimes we went under and over tree trunks.

Then for a while on a concrete road and then the rest of the way on a mountain path to the Rifugio
