This somewhat remote, but therefore all the more beautiful panoramic terrace was renovated this year by the pensioners from Gruol. There are several benches and a couch here. Ideal to take a longer break. The area is explained very well on a large overview board. You look straight down at Gruol and further to the left you can see the Zollernburg very nicely

Cycling

The Burgblick (castle view) at the Weinberghalde Gruol site was refurbished in June 2022. Where only recently there was an Albliege (stool) and a few other seating areas, making it difficult to enjoy the view through the densely overgrown slope, a veritable viewing platform has now been created thanks to the Gruol Retirement Community. It offers a magnificent 180-degree panoramic view of the Swabian Alb – from Hohenzollern Castle on the far left to Lemberg on the far right, the highest peak in the Alb at 1,015 meters.
