Opened in 1891, Weilmünster Station was the operational center of the Weil Valley Railway. The lines to Laubuseschbach and Grävenwiesbach branched off from here. The station had a signal box (from 1910), a freight shed with head and side ramps, and a 30-ton scale. It was used for loading ore, timber, and agricultural products. Passenger service was discontinued in 1969, and freight service ended in 1988. Today, the preserved station building recalls the Weil Valley's industrial past.
