Weilmünster Station – Heart of the Weil Valley RailwayOpened in 1891, Weilmünster Station was the operational center of the Weil Valley Railway. The lines to Laubuseschbach and Grävenwiesbach branched off from here. The station had a signal box (from 1910), a freight shed with head and side ramps, and a 30-ton scale. It was used for loading ore, timber, and agricultural products. Passenger service was discontinued in 1969, and freight service ended in 1988. Today, the preserved station building recalls the Weil Valley's industrial past.

Weilmünster (Oberlahnkr) station, located on the edge of the "market town" of the same name, was first the terminus for six months (1891/92), then from 1909 a quite important junction station on the Weiltalbahn Weilburg - Grävenwiesbach and its branch to Laubuseschbach, and finally from 1969 until its final closure in 1988 it was again the terminus of the Weiltalbahn.
