In the characteristic medieval village of Pontemanco is the old mill that worked until 1971 but whose origins date back to the year 1000. Next to it is a large villa with outbuildings where craftsmen used to live. Unfortunately, everything is pretty messed up. There is also a small chapel. If it's open, it's worth taking a look inside.

The small hamlet of Pontemanco, part of the Due Carrara area, is one of the most suggestive corners of the area that stretches east of the Euganean Hills, between the thermal baths and the area south of Padua. The hamlet clusters around the old mill, which was developed as early as the 13th century along the banks of the Biancolino Canal, where time seems to have stood still and nature offers enchanting views, perfect for various activities such as cycling, running, walking, picnicking, and more.
In the town center, you'll find the small 17th-century Oratory of the Santissima Annunciata. Inside, you can admire frescoes, decorations, artwork, and furniture, all original and dating from the late 17th century.
