In the characteristic medieval village of Pontemanco is the old mill that worked until 1971 but whose origins date back to the year 1000. Next to it is a large villa with outbuildings where craftsmen used to live. Unfortunately, everything is pretty messed up. There is also a small chapel. If it's open, it's worth taking a look inside.

      Great buildings with Italian flair.

The small hamlet of Pontemanco, part of the Due Carrare territory, is one of the most suggestive corners of the area that extends east of the Euganean hills, between the thermal basin and the area south of Padua. The hamlet gathers around the old mill, developed already in the 13th century along the banks of the Biancolino canal, where time seems to have stood still and nature offers enchanting views where various activities can be carried out such as cycling, running, walking, picnicking and so on.

In the center you will find the small 17th century Oratory of the Santissima Annunciata. In the Oratory you can admire frescoes, decorations, works of art and furniture, all original and dating from the end of the 17th century.
