Now in a new look, because the so-called Anger fountain only had a short life.
In 1908, an ornamental fountain was set up in front of the "Thüringer Hof" in memory of the honorary citizen. However, it was demolished again around 1946/47.
According to contemporary witnesses, some overzealous communists were not entirely innocent of this...
